Dialing Formats

For domestic callers within Ukraine, the prefix is dialed as 0 6156 followed by the local subscriber number. The trunk prefix '0' is used for all national calls. The complete domestic format is 0 6156 XX-XX, where the local subscriber number typically consists of 5 to 7 digits, depending on the specific exchange. For international callers, the country code for Ukraine is +380, so the full international dialing format becomes +380 6156 XX-XX. When dialing from abroad, the leading '0' of the domestic trunk prefix is omitted.

Geographic Coverage and Administrative Jurisdiction

The 6156 area code covers Velyka Bilozerka and the adjacent villages within the Velykobilozerskyi district. The area is connected to the national PSTN and is also serviced by VoIP and mobile operators, though the geographic code remains associated with fixed-line services.

Caller Instructions

For local callers within the same area code, it may be possible to dial only the subscriber number, depending on the local exchange configuration. However, to ensure connectivity, it is recommended to always use the full national format: 0 6156 XX-XX. For callers from other regions of Ukraine, dial 0 6156 XX-XX. For international callers, dial your country's international access code (e.g., 00 from most European countries, 011 from the US/Canada), followed by 380 6156 XX-XX.

Overlay and Numbering Considerations

As of the latest numbering plan updates, there are no overlay codes for the 6156 area. Example

To illustrate, if a local subscriber number is 12345, the domestic dialing format would be 0 6156 12345, and the international format would be +380 6156 12345.
