Area Code 3632 – Zarechnaya, Rivne

Overview of Area Code +380 3632

Area code +380 3632 is a geographic destination code within the Ukrainian national numbering plan, assigned to the town of Zarechnaya (also transliterated as Zarichne) in the Rivne Oblast of northwestern Ukraine. This code is part of the national destination code (NDC) structure defined under the ITU-T E.164 recommendation, ensuring international dialing compatibility.

Geographic Coverage and Administration

The code serves the administrative district centered around Zarechnaya, which lies near the border with Belarus. The region is characterized by its rural landscape and the Styr River valley. The local telephone network is operated by the Ukrainian state-owned incumbent, Ukrtelecom, and adheres to the national numbering plan administered by the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies (UCRF).

Dialing Formats

• National dialing (within Ukraine): 0 3632 X XX XX (where X denotes the local subscriber number). The leading '0' is the trunk prefix used for domestic calls.
• International dialing (from abroad): +380 3632 X XX XX. The '+380' is the country code for Ukraine, and the '0' is omitted when dialing from outside the country.

For example, a local number in Zarechnaya might be formatted as +380 3632 5 12 34 for international callers, while domestic callers would dial 0 3632 5 12 34.

Caller Instructions

For callers within Ukraine: If you are calling from a different region, you must dial the trunk prefix '0' followed by the area code and the local number. If you are calling from a mobile phone, you can dial the same format; however, some mobile operators may allow direct dialing without the '0' if you are using an international format, but it is safer to use the national format.

For international callers: Dial your country's international access code (e.g., 011 from the US, 00 from most European countries), then the Ukrainian country code 380, followed by the area code without the leading '0', and the local subscriber number. For instance, from the UK, you would dial 00 380 3632 5 12 34.

Overlay and Numbering Considerations

As of the latest updates, there is no overlay code for this area. The code 3632 is exclusively used for fixed-line services in the Zarechnaya district. Subscriber numbers in this area typically consist of five to seven digits, depending on the local exchange capacity. The Ukrainian numbering plan is closed, meaning that all national numbers are of fixed length (including the leading '0' for trunk access).

When dialing from a foreign country, it is essential to omit the trunk prefix '0' to ensure proper routing. Also, be aware of time zone differences: Ukraine operates on Eastern European Time (EET, UTC+2) and observes daylight saving time (EEST, UTC+3) from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October.
