Geographic Coverage and Administration

Patriarh Evtimovo is a small town situated in the Upper Thracian Plain, approximately 20 kilometers east of Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second-largest city. The administrative jurisdiction for this numbering area falls under the Bulgarian Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), which oversees the national numbering plan in accordance with ITU-T E.164 recommendations. The geographic area served by +359 3326 is limited to the town's fixed-line infrastructure, which is primarily operated by the incumbent telecom provider, but alternative operators may also offer services in the region.

Dialing Formats

When calling a fixed-line number in Patriarh Evtimovo, the dialing format depends on the caller's location:

• Local calls (within Bulgaria): Dial the area code followed by the subscriber number. For example, if the local number is 12345, you would dial 03326 12345 from another fixed or mobile line in Bulgaria. Note that the leading zero is part of the national trunk prefix.
• International calls (from outside Bulgaria): Dial the international access prefix (e.g., 00 from most countries, or +), then the country code 359, followed by the area code without the leading zero, and the subscriber number. For instance, to call the same number from the United States, you would dial 011 359 3326 12345 or +359 3326 12345.

Number Structure and Length

Geographic numbers in Bulgaria typically have a total length of 8 to 9 digits when dialed internationally, including the country code. For +359 3326, the subscriber number is usually 5 or 6 digits long, making the complete national significant number (NSN) 8 or 9 digits. The exact length may vary depending on the operator's allocation.

Overlay and Number Portability

As of the latest updates, there is no overlay code for the 3326 area, meaning that the geographic area is served exclusively by this code. However, fixed-line number portability is available in Bulgaria, allowing subscribers to retain their numbers when switching operators within the same geographic area. This ensures that the prefix remains associated with the location, not the operator.

Caller Instructions

For callers within Bulgaria, it is essential to include the trunk prefix '0' before the area code when dialing from a different area. For international callers, always omit the leading zero and use the +359 country code. Mobile callers within Bulgaria can dial the full national number (including the 0) without any additional prefixes. For any issues, contact your service provider for assistance.
